If a domestic incident takes place on KAFB, 377 SFS will respond and investigate. In every case involving military members, 1Sgt or CC will be requested to respond. If incident is minor (i.e. verbal altercation), 1Sgt or CC will assume control of the situation.

Ensure 377 SFS does NOT LEAVE until you are comfortable with the situation!

QUICKLY gain situational awareness & formulate a game plan:

Is my member the offender or the victim?

Is the other individual a military member? If so, what is their status and what is the name & phone # of their 1Sgt?

Any drugs and/or alcohol involved?

Any pending charges?

Any injuries?

Anyone taken to ER?

Any children in the home?

Any household weapons? -weapons may need to be moved to SFS

Re-Brief CC with any new info

If your member needs to be removed from location, consider Space-A lodging (AD Dorm is not an option for those on Title 32)

Note: 1Sgt can give VERBAL no contact order; however, follow-up with written memo
