State Unit Welfare Fund

The State Unit Welfare Fund should be utilized only as a last resort and in dire situations. The member has attempted to use all other possible financial support options available prior to applying for this funding. This is an interest free loan, NOT a grant and must be paid back! Total amount will not exceed $300. The First Sergeant Council reviews all applications and reserves the right to deny any application.

**Air Force Aid Society

AFAS Standard Assistance may be in the form of no-interest loan or grant. The purpose is to help stabilize the member’s financial situation in order to solve a problem, so the member can focus on the Air Force mission. A budget is required and payment is made to the final vendor/recipient (i.e. landlord for rent, mechanic for car repairs, etc).

**Only for Air National Guard members on Title 10 for more than 15 days are eligible.

If member is struggling to find permanent housing or is facing eviction or foreclosure, call 877-4AID-VET (877-424-3838) for assistance.

 

NMANG Family Readiness

A organization with multiple resources to aid/assist members in providing immediate and short-term referrals to appropriate agencies. (505-853-5668)
