REMINDERS:
CC schedules private meeting with member
• Provides copy of docs that pertain to positive UA
• Member has 30 calendar days to justify positive UA
If documentation is not received in 30 days, CC can:
• Proceed to process as illicit drug, OR
• Extend timeframe by 15 calendar days
At any time during process, CC can curtail duties of service member
Once documentation is received and/or timeframe has expired, MRO review is accomplished
MEDICALLY UNJUSTIFIED
For all positives that are Medically Unjustified, the commander will need to initiate discharge or waiver as per AFI36-3209
