DEMOTIONS

Before initiating involuntary demotion action, CC should ask: “Has the unit done everything it reasonably can to rehabilitate the Airman?”  If the answer is “Yes” the next step is to determine if there is enough negative information to support an admin demotion.  While deciding whether a demotion is appropriate, take into consideration the member’s entire military record not just one or two isolated incidents.

If applicable, discuss Quality Force Indicators with CC & superintendent (Chief).
